About Cameron Corner
Cameron Corner is a suburb of Regional NSW,
New South Wales and is about 1108 kms west-
northwest of NSW's capital city of Sydney.
Cameron Corner is the most remote location in
outback New South Wales, and one of the busiest.
Each year several thousand people pass this way,
either heading toward the Strzelecki Track, or into
the Corner Country from South Australia.
At Cameron Corner, 145 km north-west of
Tibooburra, you can stand at the intersection
of three states – NSW, South Australia and
Queensland. In this vast area of sand dunes and
granite outcrops is the famous ‘dingo fence’, the
world’s longest, running for 5,000 km along the SA
and NSW border.
